Soul Restoration Project

9-10am | SE 2nd Pl & Tilikum Way

Join artists in devising daily rituals of shared artistic practice employing music, movement, poetry, visual art, reading and other artistic gestures to intentionally renew and re-consecrate our civic space

Pop-Up Market

11am-1pm | SW 10th & Yamhill

Explore vendors at My People’s Market virtual gallery and buy some inspirational goods from local BIPOC crafters

Princess Bride

12-2pm | North Park Blocks

Inconceivable! Help recreate the hit movie Princess Bride. Costumes and wigs provided.

 

Smoothie & Learn

1-3pm | 220 NW 8th Ave

Enjoy a refreshing pedal-powered smoothie while learning about alternative transportation

Roller Skate

1-5:30pm | North Park Blocks, 220 NW 8th Ave

Put on your skates and get rollin’ with the Rose City Rollers

The Cart Blocks

1:30-2:30pm | SW Park Ave & W Burnside

Celebrate the grand opening of Portland’s (former Ankeny) food cart plaza with a ribbon cutting, featuring 21 carts

 

Musical Performances

A daylong event featuring a variety of BIPOC and LGBTQIA artists

Sing-Along

3-5pm | Pioneer Courthouse Square

Featuring Oregon band Pink Martini (and a few hundred Portland neighbors)

Paint the Town

(Vacant Lot next to Chinatown Gate)

Installation art, live painting, music, and community gathering in the heart of Old Town

Participate in a free mural painting and watch youth-centered musical performances. All ages welcome.
